Bernie Kane founded B.J. Kane & Associates Inc. in 1990. While the firms' initial specialty was financial professionals, today, it expands across the energy industry. Bernie has been in the recruiting profession for over 24 years and previously served in a variety financial management positions with KPMG, Westinghouse. Prior to founding Kane & Associates, Bernie served as a Division Controller of a Houston Oil Field Services.

Bernie graduated with a B.S. in Accounting & Finance from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. His goal is to build a life-time of long-term relationships with clients, candidates and employers.

    Ovarian cancer, the fifth most common cancer in women, kills over 15,000 women each year, according to Ovariancancer.org. A friend of our founder, Bernie Kane, requested our help to spread her story, and increase awareness about this 'silent killer'.  She is a Clear Lake resident with three children, diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, spreading through her lungs.
