Located in a Galleria Area, Houston, TX  - 50 yr old global insurance industry/services company
Local candidates preferred, but reasonable relocation would be provided for right candidate after local preference exhausted.

Position has overall responsibility for Accounting, Billing Information, Payroll, Credit Control, Monthly and Yearly Financial Reports, Tax and Audit Reporting and liaison, Company Secretarial function, Insurances & Risk Management. The position provides management information to local management team, Head Office and auditors.

Position will report administratively to the local VP's and functionally to the Group Financial Controller in London.

Candidate must be a CPA or equivalent with experience in a professional services environment

Candidate must have at minimum 5 years experience

Salary target ranges from $80-95K depending on experience.

Experience in accounting operations, management reporting and financial control is expected.
Experience in a company with sales ranging from 10-30 million
Experience in Offshore oil & gas market or insurance market
Experience in being part of a management team
Stable career history
Supervisory experience (will manage a team of 4 direct reports)

Software:  Experience with Sage accounting systems (or any ERP) a plus.  Solid Excel and PPT skills.
Travel: Occasionally to UK, Canada, Mexico and/or South America (Brazil)
Language Skills: None required, but Spanish will give you an advantage.
