The position will be part of an integrated team of geoscientists and engineers. The individual will be responsible for key reservoir and economic evaluations, preparing WBS (AFE) packages and booking reserves. The individual will plan for budget funds and forecast production. Technical leadership will be applied to acquire necessary data to understand the reservoir, optimize, recoveries and maximize value. Responsibilities will also include the development and technical analyses of field reservoir management plans, reservoir simulation, reserve estimation and project implementation.
Responsibilities:
With cross-functional team members, recommend field development program in order to grow reserve base and meet production goals.
Evaluate reservoir performance and collaborate to develop techniques to optimize recoveries and minimize bypassed pay.
Monitor well and overall field performance. Apply continuous improvement to drive performance for life cycle of field.
Work closely with operations team and other disciplines to maximize reservoir opportunities. Collaborate with other operators and service companies to capture synergies in technology applications and operations.
Evaluate and recommend completion improvement opportunities.
Utilize appropriate tools to characterize production profile, reserve and project economic uncertainty and risk.
Develop reserve booking strategy, evaluate & book reserves, perform economic evaluations, prepare WBS’s for projects, plan capital needs as a part of the budget process.
